ADVANCE, Mo. -- Elmer Georger of Advance announces the engagement of his daughter, Amy Marie Georger, to Wayne Leon Pohlman. He is the son of Leon and Nancy Pohlman of Perryville, Mo. Georger is also the daughter of the late Bernice Georger. Georger is a 1998 graduate of Advance High School. ADVANCE, Mo. -- Elmer Georger of Advance announces the engagement of his daughter, Amy Marie Georger, to Wayne Leon Pohlman. He is the son of Leon and Nancy Pohlman of Perryville, Mo. Georger is also the daughter of the late Bernice Georger.

Georger is a 1998 graduate of Advance High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is employed at Cingular Wireless Corporate Retail Store in Cape Girardeau.

Pohlman is a 1998 graduate of Perryville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Southeast University in 2002.

An Aug. 28 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance.
