Frericks-Robbins

MARQUAND, Mo. -- Gerald and Brenda Frericks of Quincy, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Frericks, to James Robbins, both of Marquand. He is the son of Harry and Daloris Robbins of Farmington, Mo.

Frericks is a 1994 graduate of Quincy High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in secondary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001, and a master's degree in secondary education from Southeast in 2005. She is a seventh grade teacher at Central Junior High School in Cape Girardeau.

Robbins is a 1998 graduate of Farmington High School, and a 2000 graduate of Mineral Area College. He is part owner and operator of Cherokee Pass Conoco in Fredericktown, Mo., and First Stop BP in Farmington.

A June 6 wedding is planned at Wai'alae Beach Park in Oahu, Hawaii.
