Folmar-Austin

Howard and Peggy Folmar of Irvine, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Micki Folmar, to Travis Austin, both of Santa Fe, N.M. He is the son of Edward and Margaret Austin of Cape Girardeau.

Folmar received a bachelor of arts degree in theater from the University of California at Irvine. She is employed at the Inn at Loretto.

Austin received a Ph.D. in applied math from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

A Sept. 6 wedding is planned in Santa Fe.
