NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Tom and Linda Essner of New Hamburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Essner, to Derek Felter, both of Benton, Missouri. He is the son of Mike and Shari Felter of Benton.

Kelly is a 2005 graduate of Kelly High School, and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is employed at Montgomery Bank.
