Essner -- Horrell

Danny and Jill Essner of Scott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Michelle Essner of Scott City, to Aaron Mitchell Horrell of Chaffee. He is the son of Chad and Jodie Schott of Oran, Missouri, and Brian Horrell of Chaffee.

Stephanie is a 2010 graduate of Scott City High School and received her bachelor of science degree in fashion merchandising from Southeast Missouri State University in 2014. She is employed at Slusher Farm and Home Inc.

Aaron is a 2009 graduate of Chaffee High School and received his bachelor of science degree in middle school education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2014. He is employed at Chaffee High School.

A Jan. 2 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
