Essner -- Glosemeyer

Donald and Clara Essner of Chaffee, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Essner, to Bryan Glosemeyer of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Bill and Nancy Glosemeyer of Cape Girardeau.

Julie is a 2008 graduate of The College of New Jersey, receiving a bachelor's degree in early childhood education/history, and a 2015 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Master of Arts degree in elementary education with a reading emphasis. She is a kindergarten teacher at St. Vincent de Paul Parish School in Cape Girardeau.

Bryan is a 2004 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, receiving a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering technology. He is an operational excellence manager at Manac in Oran, Missouri.

An Aug. 13 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri.
