Essner -- Dennis

Mark and Anita Essner of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassie Ann, of Oran, Missouri, to Levi Hunter Dennis of Oran. He is the son of Pete and Carol Dennis of Oran.

Cassie is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and received a degree in recreation from Southeast Missouri State University. She is recreation coordinator with the city of Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department.

Levi is a graduate of Oran High School. He works for DuPont Pioneer.

A Nov. 7 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Missouri.
