Erlbacher-Bernal

Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Erlbacher II of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra Leigh Erlbacher, to Michael Joseph Bernal, both of Kansas City, Mo. He is the son of David J. Bernal of Lees Summit, Mo., and Kathleen Peterson of Prairie Village, Kan.

Erlbacher is a 1995 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from the University of Kansas in 1999. She is a human resources generalist with Emergency Providers Inc.

Bernal is a 1992 graduate of Rockhurst College Preperatory High School in Kansas City. He received a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996. He is key account manager with Infinity Broadcasting Corp.

A Sept. 14 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
