ENGAGEMENTS: WOLPERS-RHODES

Homer and Nancy Markhart of Cape Girardeau and Paul and Debbie Griffin of Fruitland, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leah Wolpers, to Darrin Lee Rhodes. He is the son of the Rev. Luther and Kathy Rhodes of Jackson, Mo.

Wolpers is majoring in special education at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a school bus driver with Crabtree-Harmon.

Rhodes is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School. He attended Oakland City University in Indiana, and is majoring in criminal justice at Southeast University.

An Oct. 14 wedding is planned at Grace Evangelical Church.
