ENGAGEMENTS: WILLIAMSON-SHELL

GOLCONDA, Ill. -- Donnie and Tanya Williamson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra Lynn Williamson of Golconda, to Darin Wayne Shell. He is the son of Adrian Shell of Marble Hill, Mo., and the late Brenda Shell.

Williamson received an associate's degree in accounting from Southeastern Illinois Community College, and is pursuing a bachelor's degree at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a 911 communications officer with Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Office.

Shell attended Southeast University. He is a police officer with city of Jackson, and is assistant chief of Marble Hill Fire and Rescue.

A Jan. 6 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Golconda.
