ENGAGEMENTS: WHITE-KEENEY

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Bill and Phyllis White of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelley Kay White, to Matthew Lynn Keeney of Marble Hill, Mo. He is the son of Charles "Bo" and Janet Keeney of Van Buren, Mo.

White is a 1997 graduate of Advance High School, and is pursuing a degree in elementary education at Southeast Missouri State University.

Keeney is a 1992 graduate of Van Buren High School, and attended College of the Ozarks. He is employed with Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A Sept. 23 wedding is planned at Bethel General Baptist Church in Advance.
