Dennis and Patty Turner of Cape Girardeau have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Nicole Turner, to Michael Edward Bennett. He is the son of Robert and Sandy Bennett of Imperial.

Turner attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher at Kids Korner.

Bennett received a bachelor's degree in education in December 1999. He is a teacher at Seckman High School in Imperial.

A May 20 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
