ENGAGEMENTS: THOMPSON-GLEASON

JACKSON, Mo. -- Linda J. Thompson of Jackson announces the engagement of her daughter, Brenda Lou Thompson, to Aaron Thomas Gleason, both of Chesterfield, Mo. He is the son of Tom and Carol Gleason of Sikeston, Mo. Thompson is also the daughter of the late Glen H. Thompson.

Thompson is a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in 1997 and a doctor of pharmacy degree in 1998 from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is an assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the college.

Gleason is a 1993 graduate of Sikeston High School, and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a golf professional and tournament coordinator at Missouri Bluffs Golf Club.

A May 5 wedding is planned at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in St. Louis.
