Ron and Kay Thiele of St. Louis and Joe and Judy Gremaud of Perryville, Mo., announce the engagement of their children, Brandi Anne Thiele and Jeremy Joseph Gremaud, both of Cape Girardeau. Ron and Kay Thiele of St. Louis and Joe and Judy Gremaud of Perryville, Mo., announce the engagement of their children, Brandi Anne Thiele and Jeremy Joseph Gremaud, both of Cape Girardeau.

Thiele received a degree in chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is a lab technician at Lone Star Alternate Fuels.

Gremaud received a degree in industrial technology from Southeast in 1998. He is an electrician at Noranda Aluminum in New Madrid, Mo.

An Oct. 21 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
