Don and Diane Kelpe of Cape Girardeau have announced the engagement of their daughter, Christy Lynn Staley, to Jeffrey Joseph Bebej. He is the son of Larry and Sue Bebej of Lockport, Ill. Don and Diane Kelpe of Cape Girardeau have announced the engagement of their daughter, Christy Lynn Staley, to Jeffrey Joseph Bebej. He is the son of Larry and Sue Bebej of Lockport, Ill.

Staley is a 1994 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Broadway Prescription Shop.

Bebej is a 1992 graduate of Joliet Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast University in 1997. He is employed at U.S. Refrigeration Sales and Service Corp. in Wauconda, Ill.

A March 11 wedding is planned at Hanover Lutheran Church.
