ENGAGEMENTS: SMITH-GOODWIN

DEXTER, Mo. -- Mark and Ranae Smith of Dexter announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Jean Smith, to Larry Scott Goodwin. He is the son of Larry Goodwin of Marion, Ark., and Melica Sanders of Bartlett, Tenn.

Smith is a 1996 graduate of Dexter High School, and received a degree in advertising from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro in 2000. She is a graphic designer with Whitmor.

Goodwin is a 1993 graduate of Marion High School, and received a degree in business from Arkansas State University. He is owner of Paradigm Drywall Inc.

A Sept. 16 wedding is planned at Forest Home Church of the Nazarene in Jonesboro.
