ENGAGEMENTS: SMITH-ELFRINK

Joel and Mary Smith and Voyann Smith of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Jo Smith, to Craig Joseph Elfrink. He is the son of Delwin and Theresa Elfrink of Cape Girardeau.

Smith is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She was a sixth grade teacher the past two years at St. Mary's School.

Elfrink is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in engineering physics from Southeast University in 1998. He is a lab technician at Lonestar.

An Aug. 11 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
