ENGAGEMENTS: SIMMS-HORNBUCKLE

ADVANCE -- Pat and Karen LeGrand of Oran and David Simms of Kiln, Miss., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie Simms, to Christopher Paul Hornbuckle, both of Advance. He is the son of Ted Hornbuckle of Advance and Cheryl Jackson of Delta.

Simms is a 1999 graduate of Advance High School. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Hornbuckle is a 1994 graduate of Advance High School. He is employed at The Meat Shop in Cape Girardeau.

An April 15 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Advance.
