ENGAGEMENTS: SHIRLEY-BOONE

Lisa Shirley and Mike Boone of Cape Girardeau announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Johnnie and Brenda Shirley of Jackson, Mo. He is the son of Daniel Boone of Hayti, Mo., and the late Judy Boone.

Shirley is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School, and 1995 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by state of Missouri.

Boone is a 1986 graduate of Hayti High School, and 1991 graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Ky. He is employed by state of Missouri at Cottonwood Treatment Center.

A Sept. 2 wedding is planned at the home of the bride's parents.
