ENGAGEMENTS: SCHWAB-DREW

Jerry Ray Schwab and Phyllis Jean Schwab of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Jean Schwab, to Scott Homer Drew, both of Valparaiso, Ind. He is the son of Dr. Homer and Janet Drew of Valparaiso.

Schwab is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Miami University of Ohio in 1996, and a law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1999. She is employed with the law firm of Evans and Dixon in St. Louis.

Drew is a graduate of Valparaiso High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in political science and history from Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind., in 1993. He receive a master's degree in history from Valparaiso University in 1994. He is assistant men's basketball coach at Valparaiso University.

A September wedding is planned.
