JACKSON, Mo. -- Steve and Suzanne Schneider of Poplar Bluff, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Suzanne Schneider of Jackson, to Christopher Duane Crawford of Kirksville, Mo. He is the son of Rick and Nancy Russell of Anna, Ill., and Nova and Peggy Crawford of Fruitland, Mo.
Schneider is a 1996 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. She received a bachelor's degree in music education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is an elementary music teacher with Jackson R-2 School District.

Crawford is a 1995 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor's degree in music education from Southeast University in 1999. He is completing a master of percussion performance and conducting at Truman State University in Kirksville.
A June 9 wedding is planned at Emanuel United Church of Christ.
