ENGAGEMENTS: RUOPP-DECLUE

JACKSON, Mo. -- Kathleen Riggs-Ruopp of San Diego, Calif., announces the engagement of her daughter, Sarah Ruopp, to Steve DeClue, both of Jackson. He is the son of Joe and Susan DeClue of Jackson. Ruopp is also the daughter of the late Timothy J. Ruopp.

Ruopp is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is a fifth grade teacher at Kelly Schools in Benton, Mo.

DeClue is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is a machine operator at Nordenia USA Inc.

A June 9 wedding is planned at Enchanted Gardens in Jackson.
