JACKSON -- The Rev. and Mrs. Jim Raney of St. Charles, formerly of Jackson, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Michelle Raney, to Stephen Jeremy O'Neal. JACKSON -- The Rev. and Mrs. Jim Raney of St. Charles, formerly of Jackson, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Michelle Raney, to Stephen Jeremy O'Neal. He is the son of Stephen J. and Jean O'Neal of Hopkinsville, Ky.

Raney is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School, and is majoring in art at Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

O'Neal is a 1997 graduate of Christian County High School in Hopkinsville. He is majoring in music education at Murray State. He is minister of music at First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Ky.

A June 3 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Jackson.
