ENGAGEMENTS: PUCKETT-EAKINS

JACKSON -- Mr. and Mrs. John Abernathy of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Puckett of Winchester, Ky., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Megan Puckett of Nicholasville, Ky., to Michael Eakins. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Eakins of Jackson.

Puckett is a graduate of Jackson High School and attended the University of Kentucky. She is employed in public relations with Greater Kentucky Search Dogs.

Eakins is a graduate of Jackson High School. He is city building inspector in Nicholasville.

A May 20 wedding is planned.
