ENGAGEMENTS: PIERCE-WINDEKNECHT

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Pierce of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Joan Lynn Pierce, to Daniel Loyd Windeknecht. He is the son of Rosena Windeknecht Willard of Cape Girardeau, and the late Charles Windeknecht.

Pierce is a 1988 graduate of Central High School, 1992 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, and 1997 graduate of Southwest Missouri School of Anesthesia. She is a certified registered nurse anesthetist with Anesthesia Associates of Cape Girardeau.

Windeknecht is a 1983 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Southeast University in 1987. He is employed at Procter & Gamble.

A Nov. 18 wedding is planned at Hanover Lutheran Church.
