ENGAGEMENTS: OSTENDORF-MORRIS

Glenn and Marilyn Ostendorf of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, April LaDawn Ostendorf, to Shawn Allen Morris. He is the son of the Rev. Thomas and Esther Morris of Jackson, Mo.

Ostendorf is a 1996 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is a registered nurse at St. Francis Medical Center.

Morris is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, and attended Jefferson Junior College. He is enrolled in the paramedic program at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. He is employed at Cape County Private Ambulance, and is a firefighter/EMT with East County Fire Protection District.

A Nov. 18 wedding is planned at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Mo.
