ENGAGEMENTS: NIELAND-SIMPSON

Randy and Claudia Haley of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Adria Nieland, to Travis Jay Simpson. He is the son of Huby Simpson of Leslie, Mo., and Connie Simpson of Ballwin, Mo.

Nieland is a 1994 graduate of Sikeston High School. She received an associate's degree in physical therapy from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is employed at Hab Care Inc.

Simpson is a 1994 graduate of South Technical High School in Sunset Hills, Mo. He is employed at Citi Mortgage in Chesterfield, Mo.

An Aug. 18 wedding is planned at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cape Girardeau.
