ENGAGEMENTS: MITCHELL-SCHEETER

ORAN -- Mr. and Mrs. James Dannenmueller of Oran have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lori Ann Mitchell, to John Anthony Scheeter. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Scheeter of Oran. Mitchell is also the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mitchell of Cape Girardeau.

Mitchell is a graduate of Sikeston High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 1996, and a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast in 1999. She is a teacher at Parkview State School in Cape Girardeau.

Scheeter is a graduate of Oran High School, and received a degree in electronic engineering from the Institute of Electronic Technology. He is employed at Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 21 wedding is planned at Guardian Angel Catholic Church.
