JACKSON, Mo. -- Dr. Timothy and Donna Miller of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Renee Miller, to Mark Allan Adams. JACKSON, Mo. -- Dr. Timothy and Donna Miller of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Renee Miller, to Mark Allan Adams. He is the son of Mark T. and Tamera Adams of Sikeston, Mo.

Miller is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. She is a reporter at the Washington Missourian.

Adams is a 1998 graduate of Sikeston High school. He is majoring in mining engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla.

A June 2 wedding is planned.
