FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Marvin and Sharon McMillan of Friedheim announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leigh McMillan, to Daniel James Ponder. He is the son of Norbert and Toni Ponder of Perryville, Mo.

McMillan is a 1995 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is a customer service officer at First National Bank in Cape Girardeau.
