SIKESTON, Mo. -- Daryl and Vicki McKnelly of Sikeston announce the engagement of their daughter, Julia R. McKnelly, to Timothy B. Young. He is the son of Earl and Rosemarie Young of Dexter, Mo.

McKnelly is a 1997 graduate of Kelly High School at Benton, Mo. She is majoring in art education at Southeast Missouri State University.

Young is a 1994 graduate of Dexter High School. He received a degree in physical education from Southeast University in 2001.

A June 2 wedding is planned at Todd's Garden in Sikeston.
