SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Judith Mayberry of Scott City announces the engagement of her daughter, Jaime Leigh Mayberry, to Benjamin Wade Spane. He is the son of Randy Spane and Sue Spane of Chaffee, Mo.

Mayberry is a 1994 graduate of Scott City High School, and is a student at Southeast Missouri State University.

Spane is a 1992 graduate of Chaffee High School. He received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast University in 1997. He is an estimator/draftsman at S&W Commercial Casework.

An Aug. 5 wedding is planned at the General Baptist Church in Chaffee.
