ENGAGEMENTS: LOGAN-BRUENING

Larry and Janice Logan of Chatham, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cristie Lee Logan, to Aaron Michael Bruening. He is the son of Jim and Fay Bruening of Cape Girardeau.

Logan is a 1994 graduate of Glenwood High School in Chatham. She received a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998, with emphasis in biology and chemistry. She is a medical student at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City.

Bruening is a 1994 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast University in 1998. He expects to receive a master of science in mathematics from Kansas University at Lawrence this summer. He will teach high school mathematics at Lees Summit School District.

A July 8 wedding is planned at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Springfield, Ill.
