JACKSON -- Mr. and Mrs. James Kranawetter of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Carin Lee Kranawetter, to Jeffrey Alvin Bealmear. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bealmear of Mexico, Mo.

Kranawetter is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School, and expects to graduate from the University of Missouri at Columbia in May.

Bealmear is a 1994 graduate of Mexico High School, and expects to graduate from Linn State Tech College in May.

A May 27 wedding is planned at St. John Lutheran Church in Mexico.
