CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. -- Kimberly Helfer and Lee McDaniel announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Dolly Harrison of Caruthersville, and the late Ed Harrison. McDaniel is the son of George and Joy Robertson of Excelsior Springs, Mo.

Helfer is office manager at H&R Block in Caruthersville.

McDaniel served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He is employed with the U.S. Postal Service in Cape Girardeau.

An April 28 ceremony is planned at the home of Jeff and Kristie Hill in Benton, Mo.
