ENGAGEMENTS: GIESIKE-LINGLE

William and Barbara Giesike of Washington, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Anne Giesike, to James Brian Lingle. He is the son of James and Rose Lingle of McClure, Ill.

Giesike is a graduate of Washington High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Southeast Missouri State University, and is in the graduate program pursuing a master's degree in education administration. She is a special education teacher with state of Missouri.

Lingle is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting from Southeast University. He is an auditor with Brown, Smith and Wallace LLC in St. Louis.

A May 12 wedding is planned at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Washington.
