ENGAGEMENTS; GARFIELD-EDWARDS

Mr. and Mrs. John Garfield of Columbia, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Marie Garfield, to Dr. Timothy John Edwards. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Donald E. Edwards of Cape Girardeau.

Garfield received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Truman State University. She is a cardiac electrophysiology nurse at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

Edwards is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and St. Louis University Medical School. He is a medical resident at Vanderbilt University Hospital.

A May 5 wedding is planned in Columbia.
