ENGAGEMENTS: FORTNER-MAYS

RISCO -- Royce and Alice Fortner of Risco announce the engagement of their daughter, Betsy Kay Fortner, to Bryan Ashley Mays. He is the son of Harold and Debbie Mays of Malden.

Fortner is a 1997 graduate of Risco High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University this month.

Mays is a 1997 graduate of Risco High School. He expects to receive an associate of arts degree in business from Three Rivers Community College this month. He is manager at JR's Shoes in Poplar Bluff.

A May 27 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Risco.
