SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Mark and Leah Fisher of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Michelle Fisher, to Christian Alan Griffin. He is the son of Alan and Angela Griffin of Joplin, Mo.

Fisher is a graduate of Scott City High School. She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in behavioral science at Bartlesville Wesleyan College in Bartlesville, Okla.

Griffin is a graduate of Bartlesville High School. He is assistant manager at Camelot Music Inc. in Bartlesville.

An Aug. 26 wedding is planned at Memorial Wesleyan Church in Scott City.
