ENGAGEMENTS: DUGGER-BIRK

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Paul and Florence Dugger of Sikeston announce the engagement of their daughter, April Dawn Dugger, to Daryl Alan Birk. He is the son of Roy and Judy Birk of Charleston, Mo.

Dugger is a 1996 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School at Benton, Mo. She received a degree in health management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is a trainer at St. Francis Universal Health and Fitness in Cape Girardeau.

Birk is a 1995 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School. He received a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. He is an engineer at Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau.

A Sept. 15 wedding is planned at Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston.
