JACKSON, Mo. -- Helen Myracle of Jackson announces the engagement of her daughter, Janna Marie Davis, to Mark Douglas Rister, both of Jackson. He is the son of Charles "Sonny" and Joann Rister of Chaffee, Mo.

Davis is a 1985 graduate of Jackson High School. She is manager at Culligan Water Conditioning in Cape Girardeau.
