ENGAGEMENTS: COLE-MCCLARD

JACKSON, Mo. -- Robert and Donna Cole of Sparta, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Cole, to Charles McClard, both of Jackson. He is the son of Wade and Judy Robert of Kelso and Gary and Shirley McClard of Jackson.

Cole is a graduate of Sparta High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Forest Pharmaceuticals.

McClard is a graduate of Scott City High School, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed at Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau.

A Sept. 23 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
