EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Dickie and Shirley Carden of East Prairie announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Lynn Carden, to Micheal William Manning. He is the son of Helen Manning of Jackson, Mo., and the late James Manning.

Carden is a 1997 graduate of East Prairie High School. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
