CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jack and Cindy Burnett of Chaffee announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessie Marie Burnett, to Timothy John Vollink. He is the son of Dennis and Kathy Vollink of Cape Girardeau.

Burnett is a 1997 graduate of Chaffee High School, and 2000 graduate of Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is a respiratory therapist at Heartland Home Health Care.

Vollink is a 1994 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in horticulture from Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed at Natural Health Food Store.

An Oct. 21 wedding is planned at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
