Bruch is a 1999 graduate of Kelly High School at Benton. She is employed at SEMO Specialties and Sports in Jackson.

Thompson is a 1997 graduate of Kelly High School, and attended Missouri Valley College at Marshall. He is a flooring installer with Columbia Construction.

A September wedding is planned in Sikeston.
