FRUITLAND, Mo. -- Ted and Nancy Ernst of Fruitland announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Birk, to Robert Haupt. He is the son of Johnnie and Kathie Haupt of Fruitland.

Birk is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School, and plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University.
