ENGAGEMENTS: BEIS-KEMBEL

Charles and Dorothy Beis Jr. of Portageville, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara L. Beis, to Paul S. Kembel. He is the son of Robert L. and Debie L. Kembel of Cape Girardeau.

Beis is a 1992 graduate of Portageville High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is a provider service representative with Alliance Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Kembel is a 1993 graduate of Central High School. He is an officer with Charleston, Mo., Department of Public Safety.

A Dec. 2 wedding is planned at St. Eustachius Church in Portageville.
