ENGAGEMENTS: BEASLEY-SILLIMAN

JACKSON, Mo. -- David and Carolyn Beasley of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Janet Lea Beasley, to William Ray Silliman, both of Columbia, Mo. He is the son of Bill and Violet Silliman of Dexter, Mo.

Beasley received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University. A senior vice president with Union Planters Bank in Columbia, she is marketing and human resources director.

Silliman received a degree from Southeast University. He is a fourth year student at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, specializing in general/vascular surgery.

A Sept. 16 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
