ENGAGEMENT: SCHIWITZ-ESSNER

BENTON -- Arthur Bud and Brenda Schiwitz of Benton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Gina Marie Schiwitz, to Jeffrey John Essner. He is the son of Paul and Geneva Essner of New Hamburg.

Schiwitz is a 1992 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School, and received a degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997. She is employed by State of Missouri as a caseworker with Division of Family Services in Sikeston.

Essner is a 1991 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and received an associate's degree in electronic technology from IET in Paducah, Ky. He is employed at Procter & Gamble.

A June 24 wedding is planned at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg.
