Donna and Gary Shelangoski of Yellville, Ark., and Wendell and Connie Edgington of Fort Madison, Iowa, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jeanette K. Edgington, to Johnnie D. Haupt, both of Avondale, Mo. He is the son of Johnnie and Kathie Haupt of Fruitland.

Edgington is a graduate of Maplewood Community College. She is employed by Transamerica Insurance in Kansas City, Mo.
